NASCAR RACING
NASCAR AND NICK GIRDLESTONE
In 1989 Nick Girdlestone, whilst racing Speedway, was approached by a NASCAR team who were impressed by his driving ability.
From this initial meeting, a one year contract was signed to race for the Nicholson Racing NASCAR team.
During this time, Nick experienced driving at the well known NASCAR track the Thunderdome in Melbourne, Victoria and support races to the Indy Cars at the Gold Coast Indy in Surfers Paradise, Queensland.

He raced NASCAR until 1991, before continuing his passion of Speedway.
